General Information

Owl
SPS is a K-2 school located just off of the intersection of 1-19 and Sahuarita Road in Sahuarita, AZ. We are one of two elementary schools in the Sahuarita District #30. At SPS, our mission is to develop all students into becoming life-long, self-directed learners, problem solvers, and effective communicators. We are committed to developing students into goal-setters and quality producers. Our children will be well equipped with collaborative working skills and value becoming contributors to their community.

We encourage you to explore the web site and learn more about the blue and gold owls of SPS. Communicating who the Owls are, what we are doing and what we value are central goals of this website.

What we're all about...

Children develop at different rates. At Sahuarita Primary School the educational focus is to foster individual growth in academics and human development. The ongoing challenge is to consistently implement multiple, creative learning opportunities that create students who know how to learn, know how to adapt to change, and have the ability to seek and use knowledge in everyday life.
